I journal already so most ideas, I already do so for someone just starting, it is very good. I would suggest you read this before you journal. I had a hard time deciding how to: write with pen and paper or on computer. It does take discipline and if you start out knowing your goals, it is easier to stick to it. I have learned about Sam and EasyJournaling through Internet while wandering around the web. I think he put his idea about each level of journaling in quite impressive way.
I have always wanted to keep journals like eating meals a day, but always got distracted. Knowing what level of journaler I am actually helped me why I had hard time keeping up. Now we are in abundant apps, media to document one's life moment beside pen and paper I think he did great job introducing digital journaling. I think his 7 tips or things you should consider when journaling digitally pointed out important things yet easy to overlook. Thank you, Sam. You motivated me to keep journaling in richer way. I shall introduce more picture, video and other media to keep documented. And not forgetting to back up, expert and password-secured!
It was not what I expected, but it was enough to stimulate my curiosity. I purchased another book written by this author because I wanted to learn more about digital journaling and see if I wanted to become a level 5 journalist. The author's tone is very conversational and easy to follow. However I really felt like it was a promo and I bought.
